The longest established section in Southborough Scout Group, Thursday Scouts is run by Scout Leader Mel Leigh, with assistant leaders Wendy Fronda, David Jakes and Scott Towner.

Together, the leadership team provide an exciting and varied programme for children aged between 10 1/2 and 14. Southborough Scout Group is a leading Scout group, with one of the biggest attendances in the district.

To reflect the age of the section, Scouts gives children more independence than Cubs, and allows children to engage with new people in a secure social setting, as well as experiencing new activities which are often not available outside of Scouting.

Below is our brand new Winter 2016 programme. If you're interested in joining Thursday Scouts, please use the Contact Us page.
