Scouting is a charity, and without the dedication of our volunteers, we could not continue to run. But we are unable to accomodate for as many children as we would like, because we are short on leaders.
Getting involved is easy, and there are many reasons to do so. As well volunteering looking good on a CV, it is incredibly rewarding - being able to help young people develop and provide opportunities for those who might not otherwise have them. Scouting also allows leaders to try new things, meet new people and can develop skills, including leadership, practical outdoor skills and teamwork.
There are many areas we need help in, from the executive committee, to uniformed leaders, to occasional helpers who just help when they can. Please do what you can for Scouting, and give something back.

By filling in the form here, you can tell us where you can help us and make a real difference to the lives of young people.
Even if you can only help once a month, it would give us the help we need to continue running a full programme for the young people at Southborough Scouts.
